He builds a mood and flow that complements the atmosphere of every venue he plays — working with Genre Music to expand his presence across the luxury hospitality scene, performing internationally at venues including Nobu and Four Seasons. He has also worked alongside VELO and Tomorrowland, bringing that same energy to a global stage.

DJ Lessons & Mentoring

Learn to read a room, not just mix a track.

Most people assume DJing is either a hobby or an all-consuming grind. James built a full-time income from DJing, with residencies at some of the world's finest hotels, restaurants and beach clubs that have taken him from London to Marrakech and Ibiza, paid to travel and experience new cultures along the way. He mentors aspiring and developing DJs on the skills that actually make that possible: track selection and set programming, technical mixing, reading and shaping a room's energy, and turning one great gig into a residency.

01

Foundations

Beatmatching, EQ, transitions and building confidence on the decks — for DJs just starting out.

Whether you've never touched a controller or you're still finding your feet, Foundations gets you comfortable with the fundamentals — beatmatching, EQ, transitions, and reading your own set as it builds. No pressure, no jargon, just a clear path from your first mix to your first set you're proud of.

£55 / hour (90-minute sessions available at £82.50)

First session for new students: £35

02

1:1 Mentoring

Ongoing sessions on set programming, track selection, and developing a sound that's genuinely your own.

For DJs who've got the basics and want to go further — this is ongoing, personalised mentoring on the things that separate a good DJ from a booked one: curating a set that tells a story, developing your own sound rather than copying someone else's, and the small technical details that make a set feel effortless.

Career & Residency Coaching

Reading a room, handling hospitality and events bookings, and turning a one-off gig into a residency.

This is the side of the industry nobody teaches — because most tutors haven't lived it. James draws directly on residencies at Nobu, Ivy Asia and Four Seasons across London, Marrakech and Ibiza to coach reading a room in a live hospitality setting, handling bookings and venues professionally, and turning a single gig into an ongoing residency. It's the same path that built his own full-time career, and took him around the world doing it.

Students also gain exposure to James's network of agents and industry contacts, spanning both the hospitality and club scenes. The package also includes direct WhatsApp support for the duration of the package, plus one week after your final session — so questions don't have to wait until the next booking.

£250 for a 3-session package (60 minutes per session)
